Secrets of the Box Top Superstars

Remember the year when a score in the Box Tops classroom contest chart ran off the paper? Mrs. Pierce’s 1st grade class had SO many clips that we had to extend the poster to show their super-huge bar on the bar graph! What was their secret? It was Grandma. Now that the Box Tops program is part digital/part traditional clips, it is easier than ever for family and friends in other towns and states to support your child in the classroom contest. All they need to do is capture an image of their grocery store receipt from within the Box Top mobile app, and any qualifying products they bought will be automatically credited to Thoreau School. They can even specify your child’s classroom for credit in our contest. Send them this link to a two-minute video that shows them all they need to know. And if you still have that bag of traditional clips, don’t throw them away! We are still collecting all of them for this year’s contest – even the expired ones will get credit. Stay tuned for more news on how to safely turn them in, coming soon. Thanks for participating!
