Fall & Winter After School Signup is Open!

Concord Recreation is excited to again be working with the Thoreau School to offer a variety of before and after school programs this fall and winter.

Fall 2019

  • Before School Sports (Gr 3-5)
  • Fuzzy Felt (Gr 1-5)
  • Lego Builders (Gr K-2)
  • Kids Test Kitchen (Gr 1-5)

Winter 2020

  • Before School Gymnastics (Gr K-2)
  • Fuzzy Felt (Gr 1-5)
  • Lego Robotics (Gr 3-5)
  • Kids Test Kitchen (Gr 1-5)

Registrations can be done over the phone by calling 978-287-1050, at any Concord Recreation location, or by accessing your Concord Recreation online account by clicking here and typing “Thoreau” in the keyword search box.

Order Your 2019-2020 Thoreau Directory Now

The 2019-2020 Thoreau School Directory is a valuable resource for every family. It includes student names, addresses, parent/guardian names, email addresses and phone numbers. It also includes room parent names, PTG contacts, a school calendar and district phone numbers. It is a reference you will use many, many times during the year – guaranteed to be dog-eared by June!

The directory costs $30 for the first copy ordered and $5 for each additional copy. The funds above the printing costs go toward the PTG budget. The PTG underwrites many programs for students throughout the school year as well as family events and special teacher requests. Order yours today!

Fall Group Classes Registration now open at Concord Conservatory of Music (CCM)

Offering group classes for every interest and skill level for all ages. Whether you’re a kid or an adult, learning music in a group is fun and motivating. CCM offers a range of classes to captivate your child. The perfect starting point might be Group Keyboard, Beginner Vocals, or Group Guitar; they’ll thank you later for starting their musical journey. Kids build music skills and a sense of achievement that inspires a lifetime of continued musical education and enjoyment. And, enroll your singer in the new Concord Conservatory Girls Chorus for ages 9–14! For adults and teens, there’s the ever-popular Ukulele Club and Crash Course, hand drumming, Bluegrass and Old-Time classes, and many guitar classes to choose from plus the new Choral Skills for Adults. As a non-profit school, Concord Community of Music serves Concord and the surrounding 15 communities. CCM is an energetic community of people who are deepening their involvement in music education. Music Lessons with IMSCC

IMSCC’s Fall session is enrolling now – beginners and students of all levels welcome! Lessons are given after school and in the evenings at CCHS, Sanborn and Carlisle schools.
