Concord Promise unites parents with a promise to delay giving their child a smartphone until at least 8th grade and is committed to education opportunities for all parents. Supported by recent research regarding the impact of smartphones on developing brains, our hope is that, together, we can make a change and give our kids the gift of a hands-free, heads-up childhood. Even if you have checked out our site previously, please visit again as we have added many new resources to educate all parents (even if your child already has a smartphone) and kids on the risks and responsibilities of smartphone use. We will also add more events this fall, including community conversations and forums to discuss the challenges of raising kids during the digital age.
