Annual Appeal Request

Dear Thoreau Parents,

First and foremost, we would like to extend an enormous thank you to all those families that have contributed to the Thoreau School Annual Appeal this year. Your donations are making a significant impact toward assisting with educational programming, field trips and annual family events within the Thoreau community.  In fact, due in large part to Annual Appeal donations, the PTG was recently able to allocate additional resources to teachers for supplies and fund an important 5th grade field trip that otherwise would have been cancelled.

Unfortunately, as we approach the remaining few weeks of the school year, we have not quite met our Annual Appeal goal for this year. If you have not yet contributed, we would greatly appreciate your help.

As you have heard, the Concord Public School supplemental appropriation request for $200,000 was not passed at the recent town meeting.  Any additional donations received at this point in the year will help support programs for all grade levels and reduce the burden on individual families.
Donating is easy. You can contribute through PayPal on www.thoreauptg.com. Click the “donate” tab at the bottom of the page and follow the directions. Or simply send a check, made payable to Thoreau PTG (with “Annual Appeal” in the memo line) and mail it to Thoreau School, 29 Prairie Street, Concord, MA, or drop it off in the PTG box inside the school office.
