ASTRONAUT COMING TO THOREAU- THIS WEDNESDAY 7pm!!!

Everyone is invited!!!

Thoreau Cub Scout Pack 133 and the PTG are pleased to offer an evening with former Astronaut Marsha Ivins in the Thoreau auditorium at 7:00pm on May 21.  As a veteran of five spaceflights she has a unique perspective on life in space.  She recently retired after thirty-five years at NASA, and the US State Department has sponsored her travels and speaking engagements to many different nations since her retirement, most recently New Zealand, Poland, and India.  She is currently organizing training and equipment to support production of an IMAX movie documenting life aboard the International Space Station.

Students, siblings, and parents are all invited to this event to learn more about space and the future of US spaceflight. Please contact Phil Root, Pack 133 Cubmaster, at proot@mit.edu if you have any questions.
