PTG Co-President’s Message and News

Thank you to our fundraising chairs, Jenifer Perry and Megan Holsinger, for organizing a wonderful Sip & Shop at The Concord Toy Shop last Thursday evening!  Not only was it fun to mingle and share in-person toy reviews with each other, but 15% of all the sales help fund the programs we run each year! Thank you to all those who stopped by!

A big shout-out also goes to all those who took time to be trained this past Monday in order to help run the STEAM Innovation Lab Kick-off that takes place tomorrow! Be sure to ask your children about their favorite STEAM challenge.

December PTG Meeting:
The meeting scheduled for December 15th at 9:00 will not be a traditional PTG meeting.  Instead, we will use the time to begin talking about the Thoreau Capital money – funds raised years ago for our playgrounds and recreation areas that was not used due to changes in circumstances and events at the time.  Over the years this fund has been used for small Capital expenditures, but we have the opportunity to do so much more! We welcome everyone to come and join the conversation about ideas and thoughts on how we should use the money to enhance our playgrounds. The meeting will be held in the cafeteria.
