LEGO CLUB

Calling all Lego lovers! Lego club is a low-key club where children can build freely with Legos and have fun with their classmates. All grades (K-5) are welcome and the club is divided into groups by grade.   Lego Club will meet Mondays in the cafeteria, 3:15 – 4:00 p.m., once per month the school year, for each group. Once we have the final number of children, we will divide into manageable and age-appropriate groups. Parents will be assigned a date to volunteer. (This likely will average once for the year for 45 minutes — not a big time commitment.)

Groups will begin meeting on September 29. Please sign up by Sunday, September 14 so that we can organize the groups and arrange for parent volunteers. We will be collecting dues of $10 per child to pay for Legos, materials, and the end-of-year popsicle party.Any family needing financial assistance in order to participate in this event should contact Rachel Levesque, School Social Worker, at rlevesque@colonial.net or (978) 341-2490, ext. 3165.

To sign up, just visit https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1LJ9EEmnHZGT2-ZzsX0vAdTejmEdFOKVtiRMa4Xui3rI/viewform?c=0&w=1&usp=mail_form_link and fill out the form.  We really need leaders for all age groups, so please let us know on the form if you are interested!  This is a parent-run club; it can’t run without you!  Parents are welcome to stay during Lego Club even if they haven’t been assigned to volunteer for that month. It is a wonderful way to spend time with your child and their friends doing something they love to do!      –Angela Quinn (awonsey@gmail.com) for the Lego Club
