We hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving break and survived the two unexpected gifts from Mother Nature this week! Speaking of gifts check out our school store at and receive free shipping until 12/9. Thank you to all those involved in planning the Turkey Trot as well as all the volunteers who helped the day of the event. Lastly, our December PTG meeting will take place on Friday December 13th at 9:00 a.m. in the cafeteria. We hope to see you all there!

Last Chance for the Lost and Found is Tomorrow (Friday Dec 6)

Did you check out the online photo gallery of the lost and found yet? Better click here now, since tomorrow (Fri Dec 6) is your last chance to claim your stuff! After that, everything will be donated to charity. There are over 75 items in there, so there’s a chance one of them is yours and you just don’t realize yet that it’s missing. Staff Appreciation Cookie Table and Barista

The Staff Appreciation Committee is organizing a Cookie Table and Barista on Tuesday 12/17. This event will be provided by the 2nd and 3rd grade families. The staff will be given small bags to fill with a variety of tasty treats and a traveling barista will be present to whip up their favorite coffee concoction. Please visit the signup to donate items. Note there are two different drop off dates.

SEPAC Workshop – December 5th
Breaking Down Inclusion, Building Up Students- December 5

Hosted by the Concord Public Schools and Concord-Carlisle Regional School District Special Education Parent Advisory Council

Please join us for a presentation by Elise Wulff from the Aspire program at MGH. Elise has more than a decade of experience working with the neurodiverse population, their families, and professionals. In this workshop, Elise will provide an overview of core principles guiding inclusion practices and empower parents to engage these concepts in building your child’s educational success. The discussion will include a review of some key theoretical and legal foundations of inclusion practices as well as specific recommendations for how schools can implement inclusion with fidelity.

Concord Youth Theatre’s Junior Company Presents 101 Dalmatians KIDS – December 6-8

Concord Youth Theatre’s Junior Company will be performing Disney’s 101 Dalmatians KIDS. Based on the classic animated film, Disney’s 101 Dalmatian KIDS is a fur-raising adventure featuring Cruella De Vil, Disney’s most outrageous villain, and 101 of the most adorable heroes. Showtimes are: December 6 at 7:00pm; December 7 at 4:00 pm, and December 8 at 2:00pm. All shows are at Concord Youth Theatre’s new home at 53 Church Street, West Concord.

Tickets are $13 each and may be purchased online at or by calling the CYT box office at 978-371-1482. Tickets may also be purchased at the door depending on availability. The performance is recommended for ages 4 and up.

Unite with Light – December 8

Unite with Light is Sunday, December 8th. Unite with Light is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization started by Willard alumni and run by kids from all three elementary schools and our middle and high schools. We organize an annual event in Concord and Carlisle that brings the community together and raises money to be donated to a charity.

Purchase your Unite with Light luminary kits here to support and participate in the event: Each kit costs $20 and contains ten luminaries.

Presentation: “Mindfulness for Balance in Work and Life” – December 11

When: Wednesday, December 11th from 7:00 – 8:30 PM
Where: The Learning Commons (school library) at Concord Carlisle High School, 500 Walden Street, Concord.

2019 Concord Holiday Gift Drive: November 15th – December 13th

The Concord-Carlisle Community Chest, in collaboration with the Town of Concord, invites you to donate to our Holiday Gift Program for low-income Concord families. Donations of new and unwrapped gifts for children of all ages (0-17 years) are greatly appreciated. LEGOs, games, sports apparel, gift cards, arts and craft kits, and gifts for young teens are especially welcome.

Place donations in festive drop boxes at: Beede Swim and Fitness Center, Harvey Wheeler Center, Concord Town House, Engel & Volkers, Marx Fencing Academy, and the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest.

Sustainable Concord Open House – December 11

Adapting to a changing climate requires town-wide revolutionary thinking and action. That is why we are coming together to create Sustainable Concord, Concord’s plan for a more sustainable and resilient community. We need to hear from you! Please join us anytime between 4:30-7:30 pm on December 11th at the Concord-Carlisle High School Cafeteria to share your ideas. Little Women Tea – December 15

Come join the Concord Recreation Department on Sunday December 15th for a Little Women Tea. Crafts, storytelling and more, along with tea, cookies and fun! CC Youth Lacrosse: Registration for Grade 1 — 8 Open until December 31st

CC Youth Boys and Girls Lacrosse registration for grades 1 – 8 is open now until December 31. Between January 1st – January 15 there will be a late fee of $35. If you register after January 15th, you will be put on a wait list and your son/daughter cannot be guaranteed a spot at this point.
